Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors to ensure the best value for the company.
Project Management: Oversee the procurement process for capital projects, ensuring timely delivery and installation of equipment.
Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
Machine requirement: Collect the machine requirement from respective department user and prepare the freeze technical sheet for order finalization.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to understand their requirements and provide procurement support.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field.
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a CAPEX or engineering environment.
Skills: Strong negotiation, project management, and analytical skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Knowledge: Understanding of capital equipment and machinery, market trends, and supplier networks.
