Electrician is responsible for safe, reliable and operation of electrical systems and machines through proper installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown handling and compliance with safety standards. The role supports electrical maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities of Electrician (Electrical Maintenance)
    • Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on time as per schedule to avoid Electrical breakdowns, reduce downtime, and maintain safe and reliable operation.
    • Troubleshoot electrical faults likes- motors, panels, drives, sensors & wiring.
    • Handle HT/LT panels, DG operation, MCC, PCC, DBs, VFDs, contactors & relays.
Installation & Support
    • Assist engineers in new machine installation & commissioning.
    • Support electrical modification during process improvement or trials.
Safety & Compliance
    • Follow Electrical Safety, LOTO & PPE’s norms strictly.
    • Ensure proper earthing, insulation resistance & safety interlocks.
    • Identify unsafe conditions and report immediately.
Documentation
    • Maintain daily work logbook, PM checklist & breakdown history.
    • Support 5S implementation in electrical panels & work area.
Utilities & Support Systems
    • Support electrical systems of DG sets, compressors, cooling towers, ETP.
    • Monitor electrical load, power quality and energy efficiency.
Competency Profile – Expected Skills
    1. Experience in Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown electrical maintenance.
    2. Knowledge of motors, starters, VFDs, PLC panels (basic), sensors.
    3. Knowledge of electrical automation.
    4. Understanding of earthing systems, insulation testing & safety norms.
    5. Basic knowledge of mechanical interfaces (motors, couplings, belts).
    6. Familiar with electrical tools, testers, megger & measuring instruments.
Experience: - 5-7 Years
Qualification: - Diploma in Electrical / ITI in Electrician
CTC: - 3 to 5 LPA
Location: - Greater Noida.
