Key Responsibilities
· Tool Maintenance & Repair: Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance of tools, dies (drawing/extrusion), and molds.
· Manufacturing & Assembly: Fabricate, assemble, and fit new tools and components, including electrode manufacturing and polishing of core and cavity.
· Troubleshooting: Resolve production issues related to tooling, such as dimensional deviations, wear, or damage during hot/cold processes.
· CNC & Conventional Machining: Operate and program tool room machinery including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and CNC/EDM machines.
· CAD/CAM & Documentation: Use AutoCAD/SolidWorks for design modifications, maintain tool history records, and update PM logs.
· Quality Control: Ensure tooling meets required specifications and tolerances (GD&T).
· Inventory & Safety: Manage tool inventory, maintain safety standards (5S), and ensure a safe working environment.
