Job Summary
The ETP & Boiler Operator will be responsible for smooth operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Boiler systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
ETP Operations
- Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) as per operational standards.
- Monitor pH, TDS, flow, chemical dosing, and other treatment parameters.
- Ensure proper treatment and disposal/recycling of wastewater.
- Maintain ETP logs, reports, and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms and environmental regulations.
Boiler Operations
- Operate and monitor boiler systems safely and efficiently.
- Maintain required steam pressure, temperature, and water levels.
- Monitor fuel consumption and boiler performance parameters.
- Maintain boiler operation logbooks and records.
- Ensure compliance with boiler safety standards and statutory requirements.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and utility equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or relevant trade.
Boiler Operator Certificate preferred (where applicable).
Experience
2–5 years of experience in ETP and Boiler operations in manufacturing/process industry.
