Role Overview:
The Transportation Intern will assist the logistics and transportation team in coordinating daily freight and shipment activities. The role involves supporting transportation operations, vendor coordination, shipment tracking, documentation, and ensuring smooth movement of materials. This internship will provide practical exposure to logistics planning and transportation management in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating transportation and freight movement activities
- Support the team in tracking shipments and maintaining delivery updates
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and internal teams for smooth logistics operations
- Help maintain records related to shipments, freight costs, and transportation activities
- Assist in resolving basic transportation and operational issues
- Support logistics planning and scheduling activities
- Ensure timely follow-ups and communication with stakeholders
- Assist the operations team in maintaining smooth day-to-day transportation processes
- Help ensure adherence to operational and safety guidelines
Skills Required:
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic understanding of logistics and transportation operations
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications
- Good organizational and time-management abilities

Eligibility:
- Pursuing Graduation/Post Graduation in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields
